The SEC had a handful of coaching changes following the 2016 season. While no head coaches made moves, the league did see movement among the assistant ranks.
Today, we are looking at the new coordinators taking over in the conference. We are starting with the SEC East Division, which currently has just two new coordinators. Kentucky is in search of a new defensive coordinator after D.J. Eliot took the same job at Colorado.
But for the timing of this post, only Florida and Tennessee are working with new coordinators heading into spring.
Here's everything you need to know about them:
FLORIDA
Randy Shannon, Defensive coordinator
Shannon was promoted from co-defensive coordinator/linebackers coach to full-time DC after Geoff Collins left to be Temple's head coach.
