BATON ROUGE, La. -- The convenient, and occasionally inconvenient, aspect of Ed Orgeron's role as LSU's interim coach is that each Saturday serves as a job interview.
Saturday's 16-10 loss to Florida was like showing up for the interview without remembering to wear pants.
It's not so much that Orgeron's Tigers lost to another opponent not named Alabama, it was the manner in which LSU lost to the Gators. Just when it looked like Orgeron had an excellent chance to win the full-time gig, his team delivered one of its ugliest performances of the season.
