BATON ROUGE, La. – The comparison is so obvious between LSU’s Donnie Alexander and predecessors Deion Jones and Duke Riley.
Alexander can only hope his final college season follows a similar path, going from special-teams standout to first-time starter as a senior to future pro.
“When you’re on a team like this that has a lot of good players, sometimes you’re going to have to tuck your tail and just keep competing until you get that chance,” said Alexander, a junior who is seventh on the team with 41 tackles. “And once you get that chance, just let everything show.
