Auburn Tigers forward Johni Broome suffered a "significant sprain" during the team's 66-63 win over South Carolina head coach Bruce Pearl told the SEC Network. He is scheduled to undergo an MRI upon the team's return to Auburn on Saturday night, per ESPN's Jeff Borzello.
Broome exited the game with under 14 minutes remaining after stepping on a teammate's foot while contesting a shot on defense. He was unable to put weight on his foot and had to be assisted to the locker room.
