According to CBS Sports, former Auburn running back Peyton Barber is currently the 311th-ranked prospect in the 2016 NFL Draft. Unfortunately, that has him projected to go undrafted as last season there were only 256 selections made in the draft. With his draft grade being so low, many people wondered why he didn’t stay in school, and on Wednesday, he gave a very sympathetic reason why he declared early.
After hearing Barber say that his mother is currently homeless and living with his sister and two kids in an apartment, you kind of understand his decision.
