Arkansas Passes Law Allowing Guns at Football, Basketball Games Starting in 2018

A new law signed by Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson on Wednesday will allow concealed weapons to be carried into sporting events at government-owned facilities within the state.

According to Andrew Demillo of the Associated Press (h/t MySanAntonio.com), the law will take effect on Sept. 1, but it is likely that guns won't be allowed at sporting events until early 2018.
