For the third consecutive season, Arkansas will face a Big 12 team early in its nonconference schedule.
The past two seasons, the Razorbacks took on Texas Tech, and both games served as interesting measuring sticks for Bret Bielema's team. In 2014, when the Hogs went into Lubbock, Texas, and dominated the Red Raiders to the tune of 49-28, it was a sign of progress for the program in Bielema’s second season.
Arkansas wound up going 7-6, including a victory over Texas in the Texas Bowl, a significant step forward after winning only seven games in 2012 and 2013 combined.
