Alabama Players Troll UCF on Twitter After Receiving National Championship Rings

The Alabama Crimson Tide football team received its national championship rings Monday:

They are decorated with more than 150 stones and two College Football Playoff trophies for their two titles in the playoff era (2015 and 2017). However, the Crimson Tide weren't the only team to receive national championship rings.

Jason Owens of Yahoo Sports noted the University of Central Florida awarded its players with rings and unveiled a banner on Saturday after finishing with a 13-0 record and Peach Bowl victory over the same Auburn team that beat Alabama during the regular season.

That the Knights had the only undefeated record in college football last season didn't stop Alabama players Mac Hereford and Isaiah Buggs from trolling on social media:

Central Florida was not rewarded with one of the four spots in the College Football Playoff and instead had to settle for a postseason showdown with the SEC's Tigers.
