The Associated Press on Tuesday released its all-time top 100 in the era of the AP poll, which began in 1936.
The rankings were determined using a formula that gave programs one point for every poll appearance, a bonus point for No. 1 rankings and 10 bonus points for AP national championships.
Not surprisingly, Alabama was the highest among SEC schools. The Crimson Tide have appeared in the poll 745 times, a whopping 67.54 percent of all AP polls. They've been ranked No. 1 a total of 74 times and have 10 AP national championships.
