Kentucky has a chance to do something Saturday that it hasn’t done in more than a decade: win its third consecutive SEC game.
As the calendar nears November, the Wildcats are quietly putting together a solid season, sitting at better than .500 overall (4-3) and in league play (3-2). It’s Kentucky – not No. 18 Tennessee -- that is currently in sole possession of second place in the SEC East.
With five games left, things like bowl eligibility and securing a better-than-.500 SEC record for the season are within reach. The Wildcats visit Missouri (2-5, 0-3) with a chance to inch closer to a goal that has eluded them each of the last two seasons.
