Florida received a big boost to its pass rush next season after defensive end Andrew Chatfield committed to the program on Wednesday.
Graham Hall of the Gainesville Sun reported Chatfield's decision to play for the Gators.
A Florida native, Chatfield is one of the top defensive end recruits in the 2018 class. He's a 4-star prospect who is ranked as the No. 13 weak-side defensive end and No. 213 player overall, per 247Sports.
His projectible 6'2" and 221-pound frame leaves a lot of room for upside that the Gators' coaching staff will be able to tap into over the next four years.
