If there is one thing I learned this week in college football it's there are a handful of teams in the SEC that are for real and the rest are just for show. These power rankings are based off my eyes and what I watched this past weekend. The Power Rankings are not based on how I feel the teams will finish the season.

14.) Missouri Tigers (1-2)
Losing to Purdue 35-3 should be the only thing you need to here. I think it's easy to say Missouri is the doormat of the SEC this season.
13.) Arkansas Razorbacks (1-1)
Bye week for Arkansas
12.) Texas A&M Aggies (2-1)
After arguably one of the biggest upsets in college football in Week 1, the Aggies have bounced back. They were losing at halftime to Lousinanna but managed to turn in a great second half for the win.
11.) Ole Miss Rebels (2-1)
Penalties and simply dumb football. They are an entertaining team to watch but too many bonehead plays and mistakes which is why they fail to crack my top 10.
10.) Auburn Tigers (2-1)
Auburn looked just flat out bad against Mercer this past weekend. If you would have asked me to give me a team that has a chance to beat Alabama, I might have said Auburn. Now I don't really think it's going to be close.
9.) South Carolina Gamecocks (2-1)
The loss of Deeblo Samuel will hurt this offense, he is one of the best offensive players in all of college football. The special teams play has to improve because missing three field goals will never win you many games.
8.) Tennessee Volunteers (2-1)
This Tennessee team is hard to figure out. At times they look great but other times they looked lost. The coaching for Tennessee is questionable at times.

7.) Vanderbilt Commodores (3-0)
The defense has looked great and if they continue to show they have a really good defense they will continue to move up the list. They will be tested the next three weeks though that's for sure. Playing Alabama, Florida, and Georgia is a rough three-game stretch.
6.) LSU Tigers (2-1)
The Tigers look like a great team the first two weeks and then look like a train wreck and get beat by 30. Typical LSU every year, the same story, can't find consistent quarterback play.
5.) Florida Gators (1-1)
What an ending. It's cliche to say good teams find a way to win games but I truly believe it. The Gators found a way to win and that's what matters.
4.) Kentucky Wildcats (3-0)
My mind is telling me this is too high but I like the scrappy play of Kentucky. They will play Florida this Saturday which should be a good test for them but if they are able to win this game they should no problem starting their season 6-0.
3. ) Mississippi State Bulldogs (3-0)
Nick Fitzgerald is the real deal. The offense we knew was going to be good but the defense has been a great surprise. They lost a lot of talent on defense last season which is why I am surprised. The Bulldogs have a chance to surprise a lot of teams this year in the West.

2. ) Georgia Bulldogs (3-0)
An easy matchup this past week for Georgia and they took care of business. This week they have a much better matchup against the Mississippi Bulldogs which will give us a better gage on both teams. Really excited for this game.
1.) Alabama Crimson Tide (3-0)
It's Alabama and everyone else in the SEC. I haven't seen a team that I think will challenge the Crimson Tide this season out of the SEC. Which means they are number one and I expect it to be that way all season.
