Some game of soccer, wasn’t it? I had to remind myself to breathe after Jozy Altidore scored his second to make it 3-2. I reckon I didn’t breathe for the five minutes between the 65th minute and the 70th. At any rate, the Sounders might be the best team in MLS and it is an absolute joy to be alive.

The Seattle Sounders are off to the best start in their MLS history at 5-0-1. By now the slow start narrative is dead and buried, surely. But it hasn’t been the smoothest sailing for the Sounders.
