It was not destined to be a good day for the Seattle Sounders FC, as they took on NYCFC this last Saturday. It was their first regular season match in Seattle after the Copa America break. The Sounders
fielded an expected line-up. Defensively the Sounders started Stefan Frei in goal, Dylan Remick at left back, Chad Marshall and Brad Evans in center defense, and Tyrone Mears at right back. In the midfield Andreas Ivanschitz slotted in on the left side, Erik Friberg in the center, and Ozzie Alonso playing on the right. Up top, Joevin Jones was paired on the left with Aaron Kovar on the right, playing support to Jordan Morris in the center attacking position.
