Sounders FC is proud to support the GSBA Scholarship Fund and be the first professional Seattle sports team to support LGBTQ students with a multiyear GSBA Scholarship. The GSBA understands that today's students are tomorrow's leaders and is committed to supporting our community's future leaders by providing financial resources, role-models and hope to outstanding LGBTQ and allied students. Sounders FC believe sports should be a place where everyone feels welcome and belongs. The Sounders FC GSBA scholarship was created not only to celebrate diversity and inclusion but our commitment to the LGBTQ and allied communities. Since 2017, Sounders have granted $30,000 for Sounders FC GSBA scholars and shared their stories with our fans.
