It is a busy week for Seattle Reign FC’s international players. The United States kicks off two international friendlies against Mexico on Thursday, while seven Reign FC players will be competing in 2019 World Cup qualifying matches in the next few days.
Megan Rapinoe and Allie Long both received call ups for the U.S. Women’s National Team, who will face former Reign FC forward Katie Johnson and Mexico in Florida and Houston. Rapinoe has already seen significant playing time with the national team this year, while Long is trying to make the case for her continued inclusion on the roster in a crowded and competitive midfield.
