TUKWILA, Wash. — Seattle Sounders FC 2 conceded a second-half goal and couldn’t quite find one of their own, falling 1-0 to Tulsa Roughnecks FC in their Wednesday night matchup at Starfire Sports Complex.
Francisco Ugarte netted the game’s only goal in the 73rd minute for the visitors, while S2 couldn’t capitalize on any of the handful of chances they generated throughout the evening.
Neither side managed to break through in a back-and-forth first half, with Pasha Kondrakhin notching perhaps Tulsa’s best look of the first half off a free kick from a dangerous area just outside S2’s penalty box shortly after the opening kickoff.
