SEATTLE, WASH. – Goalkeeper Trey Muse today was named to the USL Championship Team of the Week for the final week of the regular season. He tied a league record with 13 saves on Wednesday at New Mexico United in a 1-1 draw, and then made four saves in Tacoma’s 3-1 victory on Saturday over Austin Bold FC, helping the club close the 2019 campaign on a five-game unbeaten streak.
The 20-year-old keeper finished second in the voting for USL Championship Player of the Week behind Charleston Battery midfielder Zeiko Lewis, who recorded one goal and two assists in two victories last week.
