Three Sounders FC Academy players called into U-18 MNT camp

CHICAGO (Jan. 20, 2016) – U.S. Under-18 Men’s National Team head coach Omid Namazi called 36 players for the program’s initial training camp of 2016; it is the first roster he has named since being appointed head coach of the U-18s earlier this month.

The camp will run Jan. 17-23 at Premiere Sports Campus in Lakewood Ranch, Florida.

Only 12 of the 36-player roster had previous YNT experience. This will be the first call up for the 24 remaining players.

Sounders FC Academy defender Samual Rogers, midfielder Stirling Russell and forward Kei Tomozawa have been called into the camp.
