Three Seattle Reign FC players feature on the 2018 NWSL Best XI and Second XI teams, which were announced yesterday.
Forward Megan Rapinoe was named to the Best XI for the first time in her NWSL career, to go along with Second XI accolades from 2013, 2015 and 2017. Rapinoe finished the 2018 season with seven goals and six assists, surpassing Kim Little to become the club’s all-time leading scorer. Rapinoe’s seven goals were good for second-most on the team behind Jodie Taylor’s nine, and her six assists tied her for third-most in the league.
