As the world stays at home together to combat the spread of COVID-19, the 2020 edition of the club’s annual Sports Science Seminar has pivoted to a virtual format.
Originally slated as an in-person event in July, Sounders FC head strength & conditioning coach Sean Muldoon moved quickly to shift the seminar to a video series. Starting on April 15, the program will run from 12 p.m. PT to 4:00 p.m. PT on Wednesday afternoons. Each day will feature four, 45-minute presentations by selected speakers, followed by an hour-long roundtable discussion.
All proceeds from the Sports Science Seminar will go directly to the Seattle Sounders FC Relief Fund, which directs financial support to individuals and businesses impacted by COVID-19.
