The Tacoma Defiance come into their second match of the season against the Tulsa Roughnecks riding a four-game losing skid. That followed what was probably their best stretch of the season in which they won 3 of 6 and even had a late lead against the virtually unbeatable Phoenix Rising.

The Roughnecks are only two spots ahead of the Defiance in the standings, but are playing better as of late, having gone 3-1-2 in their past six.
