The Tacoma Stars took on the Dallas Sidekicks in a Major Arena Soccer League match that had “let down” written all over it. The Stars were fresh off a thumping of the Turlock Express, while Dallas had taken a 5-4 victory over Rio Grande Valley. Early on it looked like the match might go in favor of Dallas, but then the Stars woke up, winning 9-6.
The Stars and Sidekicks slept thru the first quarter, with neither side scoring. The second frame saw the teams combine for six goals, with Tacoma netting five of those. Over the second half Tacoma would strike the net four more times to move their score up to nine.
