The Seattle Sounders will double-dip into the special jersey sponsorship well this year, after an agreement with Microsoft to add Gears of War 4 lettering to their Pacific Blue kits for their Sunday clash with the LA Galaxy.
This sponsorship deal mirrors one the Sounders did last year with Microsoft to add a Halo logo to their Pitch Black jersey. At the time the Sounders called that deal “the first of its kind.”
The Gears of War sponsorship will return for the Sounders’ Oct. 23 home match with Real Salt Lake, in a full-stadium match.
