On Thursday, the Seattle Sounders announced that they have waived Victor Mansaray. The 20-year-old was the Sounders’ fourth-ever Homegrown Player, and was also the youngest player to ever appear in an MLS match for the Sounders.
Mansaray made only made three appearances for the First Team in his time with the club. He played the majority of his time with S2, where he scored six goals and assisted on three others in 38 appearances.
He spent most of the 2017 season on loan with FC Cincinnati of the USL before being called back at the end of June.
