The Seattle Sounders return home this evening to host Sporting Kansas City. The Sounders have historically taken care of business at home against KC, but it’s rarely been easy. This Kansas City team is in a bit of a spot, though. As short-handed as the Sounders have been, Kansas City has struggled with health and availability even more. Kansas City comes into the game sitting 10th in the Western Conference, 13 points behind the Sounders with the same number of games played. Just two of their six wins have come away from home and they’ll be without midfielder Roger Espinoza.
