Due to rapidly deteriorating weather in Colorado as a blizzard approaches the Mountain West, tonight’s game between the Seattle Sounders and Colorado Rapids has been postponed until September 7 at 6:00 PM PT.
According to the press release sent out by the team, the decision to not play tonight was reached by a collective agreement between the Sounders, the Rapids, and MLS. “The safety of fans, players, coaches, referees and staff is of the utmost priority when evaluating these situations, and both clubs and MLS came to a collective agreement to not play the match on Wednesday, April 10,” the release is quoted as saying.
