Seattle had more chances late on, but the match finished with just the one goal
The Sounders' fourth match of the season started rather slowly, as the first half ended with only one shot on goal for Seattle and two for visitors Montreal Impact. A slightly altered lineup saw Aaron Kovar and Dylan Remick come in forJordan Morris and Joevin Jones, and the Sounders played in what looked more like a 4-2-3-1 than the 4-3-3 they had been playing thus far this season. Seattle had 58% possession in the first half, but failed to do much of anything with it.
