For most of the 2021 season, the Seattle Sounders have been on a record pace. Despite going just 0-3-1 in their past four, the Sounders can still tie their franchise record for points in a season (64). To get there, however, they’ll need to win their final two games.
The first of those games is tonight against the LA Galaxy, a team that the Sounders have dominated in recent years.
Winning tonight isn’t just a matter of where this season ranks in the record books, of course. The No. 1 seed in the Western Conference is still up for grabs, with the Sounders equal on 58 points with Sporting KC and the Colorado Rapids.
