The MLS regular season ends today with the Seattle Sounders hosting the San Jose Earthquakes. The Sounders can finish as high as first or as low as fourth in the West, but are guaranteed to at least host a playoff game. The move into first, they’ll need to win, for Sporting KC to lose and for the Portland Timbers to do no better than tie.

The Sounders come into this game having gone just 1-2-3 in their past six, while the Earthquakes are 3-2-1 in their past six.
