Seattle Sounders U23 opened their 2018 Premier Development League (PDL) season with a road trip, followed by two home matches in one weekend. The young guns look strong and seem willing to gut out results. It will be interesting to see what gut they have in upcoming matches with Calgary, but before we get to that lets look at their early results.
Seattle started the PDL season with a trip to Springfield, Oregon to face Lane United FC on May 20. Lane scored first and carried that lead into the halftime break, but Seattle found the net three times in the second half to claim the points, with Ozzie Ramos opening his account between a pair of goals by Santi Patino.
