TUKWILA, Wash. — It will be a while before the Seattle Sounders get to sleep in their own beds again. At some point on Friday, the Sounders will take off for Minnesota, and won’t return to Seattle for nearly a week. With MLS teams taking charter flights this year, it was possible the Sounders could have flown back home following Sunday’s match with Minnesota United — particularly with an early start time. But with another game on the road next Thursday in Austin, the Sounders will stay on the road for their first extended time on the road since the MLS is Back tournament last year.
