A report out of Chile says Seattle are competing with Mexico's Veracruz for the player's services.
As the MLS primary transfer window came to a close on May 11, it became clear that the Seattle Sounders were not making major roster moves until the summer. Rumors surrounding the impending addition of Chilean striker David Llanos turned out to be inaccurate, but reports today suggest they could just have been premature. The Universidad Católica player's name has resurfaced in a report saying he has a standing offer from the Sounders as well as one from Liga MX side Veracruz.
