SEATTLE, WASH. – Sounders FC today announced its match against the Portland Timbers in the Fourth Round of the 2017 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup has been moved to Tuesday, June 13 at Starfire Stadium. Last week, it was announced the contest would take place on Wednesday, June 14, but the two sides have agreed to move the contest up by one day in order to accommodate both team schedules. Kickoff remains slated for 7:30 p.m. PT. If Brian Schmetzer’s side advances past Portland, Seattle's Round of 16 opponent and location is set to be determined via a draw following the Fourth Round.
