Sounders FC receives $50,000 in General Allocation Money from Vancouver for rights to Andy Rose

SEATTLE, WASH. – Sounders FC today announced that it has received $50,000 in General Allocation Money from Vancouver Whitecaps FC in exchange for the MLS rights to midfielder Andy Rose. Rose spent four seasons with Seattle from 2012-2015 before spending the last three years in the United Kingdom, most recently with Scottish Premiership side Motherwell FC.

“Andy is a first-class individual that was a valued member of our organization during his time in Seattle,” said Sounders FC General Manager & President of Soccer Garth Lagerwey. “We’re happy he is back in MLS and wish him the best of luck in Vancouver.
