SEATTLE, WASH. - In partnership with adidas, MLS WORKS, Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) and the U.S. Soccer Foundation, Seattle Sounders FC is inviting media to the unveiling of a new mini-pitch at Beverly Park Elementary School this Wednesday, April 27 at 4:00 p.m. PT. Sounders FC General Manager & President of Soccer Garth Lagerwey, as well as players Cristian Roldan and Darwin Jones are among those on-hand for the ceremony, which is part of a national campaign to build 20 mini-pitches in underserved communities across North America. The event is being emceed by Sounders FC Radio Play-by-Play Voice Matt Johnson, and following the official dedication, local members from Washington Youth Soccer's Soccer for Success program are set to play a small-sided match on the new pitch.
