SEATTLE, WASH. – Sounders FC today announced a number of stops on a tour of Seattle for both of its Philip F. Anschtuz Trophies. Colloquially known as the MLS Cup, the Philip F. Anschutz Trophy is awarded to Major League Soccer’s champion each season. On Sunday, Sounders FC claimed its second MLS Cup in front of a historic home crowd at CenturyLink Field, defeating Toronto FC 3-1. The club captured its first MLS Cup title in 2016, winning a penalty-kick shootout at BMO Field in Toronto.
After touring the city with its first MLS Cup in 2016, Sounders FC has once again planned opportunities to share its newest trophy with the public.
