SEATTLE, WASH. – Seattle Sounders FC 2 today announced that it has released midfielder Ray Saari. He appeared in 39 games in two seasons for S2 and recorded four goals and six assists. Saari started in 11 of 12 appearances this season, scoring two goals and adding two assists. He also appeared in each of Sounders FC’s three Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup matches over the past two seasons. Saari last appeared for S2 on July 8 and has been sidelined since with a hamstring strain.
