TUKWILA, WASH. – Despite a first-half goal by David Olsen, Seattle Sounders FC 2 came up short in a 2-1 loss to Orange County SC on Sunday afternoon at Starfire Stadium. It was the first home match in nearly a month for the Rave Green.
Orange County opened the scoring in the 16th minute on a goal by Wulito Fernandes. From the top of the area, Gustavo Villalobos sent a pass to his left, finding Fernandes open with space. The forward delivered a shot that tucked inside Bryan Meredith’s far post.
