But their CCL run cost them talented players, points on the table and their first week in purely league play is against their oldest rivals - the Seattle Sounders. This Cascadia Cup match is the first of 2017. It will feature two former Seattle DPs suiting up for the Whitecaps. Both Fredy Montero (likely starter) and Mauro Rosales (likely bench player) were captains during their time in Seattle. They now look to lead a rival.
