FC Dallas hosts an exhausted and damaged Seattle Sounders squad at Toyota Stadium on what should be a cool, cloudy evening in Frisco, Texas. Both teams are no longer in the CCL. Dallas fell to Tauro FC of Panama in the Round of 16. Seattle’s trip to Chivas Guadalajara meant losing a starting quality forward in each round of the continental championship. Each coach can now focus on MLS play until the Open Cup starts June 6 for MLS teams.
Unlike Seattle the Toros made substantial changes in most of their lines. Their defense is 50% new, and the familiar faces are changing.
