The Seattle Sounders lost 1-0 to a first-choice Columbus Crew squad in the final preseason warmup before the 2017 MLS season begins. A late goal from Crew draftee Niko Hansen sunk the Sounders, who had a few good looks on net but took a long time to find rhythm going forward in attack.
Seattle now prepare for an away trip to Houston to start the 2017 campaign on March 4.
