It’s time for Seattle Sounders soccer. Saturday night’s game against the Portland Timbers is the first of 2017. It could feature the return to the field of both Clint Dempsey and Steve Zakuani. Head Coach Brian Schmetzer gets the opportunity to mix starters and rotational players together as five players are still with national teams and two more are injured. As it is the first match of the preseason most players will probably only play 45 minutes.
