Two members of the Seattle Sounders technical staff are among the 2016 nominees for the National Soccer Hall of Fame, according to a ballot released on Monday.
Sporting Director Chris Henderson and assistant coach Ante Razov are both nominated in the player category, one year after the 2015 inductees had a noticeable Pacific Northwest flair. Sounders head coach Sigi Schmid and current broadcaster and former goalkeeper Kasey Keller were inducted for their contributions to the American soccer community last fall.
Henderson is in his final year of eligibility on the player ballot and will be moved to the veteran ballot if he's not elected this year.
