The Seattle Sounders have signed midfielder Michael Farfan, a four-year Major League Soccer veteran who made 17 appearances for D.C. United in 2015, the club announced Wednesday in a release.
The addition of Farfan adds depth to a position heavy on youth and bodies — particularly following the SuperDraft — but light on MLS experience. The 27-year-old spent three seasons in Philadelphia and one with Cruz Azul in Mexico prior to joining D.C. Farfan has piled up nearly 100 league appearances, notching four MLS goals and 10 assists.
Farfan also spent part of last preseason at Sounders training camp in Mt.
