The Seattle Sounders announced the signing of Homegrown Players Henry Wingo (Academy class of 2014) and Seyi Adekoya (2015) on Tuesday. Per Major League Soccer and club policy, terms for the contracts are not disclosed.
Wingo and Adekoya become the eighth and ninth Homegrown Players in Sounders FC history, joining DeAndre Yedlin, Sean Okoli, Aaron Kovar, Victor Mansaray, Darwin Jones, Jordan Schweitzer and Jordan Morris.
“We’re pleased to add two promising young players to our roster as we head into the opening of preseason training camp,” said Sounders General Manager & President of Soccer Garth Lagerwey.
