SEATTLE, WASH. – Sounders FC today announced that the club has agreed to an intra-league loan with Los Angeles FC, sending midfielder Aaron Kovar to Southern California for the 2018 campaign and granting LAFC the option to buy the player’s rights at the conclusion of the season. The four-year pro has made 44 appearances across all competitions for Seattle since signing as a Homegrown Player in 2014, scoring three goals, in addition to registering 25 appearances and two goals for Sounders FC 2 in USL action.
“This is an excellent opportunity for Aaron to gain playing experience and further his development as a player with exposure to another club,” said Sounders FC General Manager & President of Soccer Garth Lagerwey.
