Seattle Sounders, nearly every other team, pass during Stage Two of MLS Re-Entry Draft

The Seattle Sounders, along with nearly every other team, passed during Stage Two of the MLS Re-Entry Draft on Thursday.

Just two players were picked during Thursday’s draft, which is open to all players with more than three years of MLS service whose contract options have been declined and are not eligible for free agency. Orlando City selected former New England defender Kevin Alston, while Portland picked up Houston’s Jermaine Taylor. Seattle passed with the No. 15 pick.

Only four players were selected across the two stages of the Re-Entry Draft, including former Sounders midfielder Micheal Azira.
