The Seattle Sounders wrapped up their 2020 MLS regular season with what turned into an impressive win over the San Jose Earthquakes. The first half was a rather stale affair, but Seattle made up for it at the start of the second, with quick goals from Nicolás Lodeiro and Raúl Ruidíaz. San Jose made things interesting thanks to a clever free kick from Marcos López. Seattle reestablished control via a clean finish from Jordan Morris, and finished the game off with an own goal created by Morris’ positive play.
