The Sydney Morning Herald is reporting that John Hutchinson’s time as an assistant manager with Western United has come to an end, as he’ll be returning to Seattle less than a year after he left.
Hutchinson, whose playing career included a decade spent in the Australian A-League with the Central Coast Mariners, got his first coaching experience as an assistant coach under Ezra Hendrickson with S2 in 2017. The following season he was made the head coach for the Seattle Sounders second team when Hendrickson left to join Sigi Schmid with the LA Galaxy.
